Tiramisu with Basilur Golden Crescent tea

This is the second recipe we have to offer to enrich the joyful celebration of Eid Al Fitr. The combination of intense Golden Crescent tea, full of aromatic richness, with a dessert known for its distinctive coffee flavor is a culinary masterpiece!

What ingredients are needed to prepare tiramisu?

  • 8-10 teaspoons of Golden Crescent tea
  • 1 and ¼ cups of hot water
  • 1 and ½ cups of fresh milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 20-25 pieces of sponge cake
  • cocoa powder
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of mascarpone cheese
  • ½ cup of whipping cream

How to prepare tiramisu?

  1. Pour water into a pot, set it over medium heat and cook until it begins to boil.
  2. Add the tea leaves to the pot and boil them for a few minutes.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and set aside for about 10 minutes for the tea to brew.
  4. After 10 minutes , strain the tea to remove the leaves.
  5. Place the pot with the tea over low heat, add the sugar to the pot and stir until it dissolves completely.
  6. Gradually pour the milk into the pot. Mix thoroughly until the milk and tea are combined.
  7. Divide the contents of the pot into two equal parts and pour them into bowls.
  8. Pour water into the second pot and bring it to a boil.
  9. Place a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Beat the egg yolks with brown sugar until they become light creamy and double in volume. Make sure the sugar has dissolved completely.
  10. Remove the bowl from the heat.
  11. Combine half of the tea and milk mixture with the mascarpone cheese and egg yolk mixture. Mix until well combined. Then set aside
  12. In another bowl, beat the cream.
  13. Add the whipped cream to the mascarpone cheese mixture. Mix everything thoroughly.
  14. Dip each sponge cake in the remaining half of the tea and milk mixture , then place them on the bottom of a rectangular, deep dish .
  15. Pour half of the prepared cream mixture onto the biscuits, smooth it evenly and sprinkle the top with cocoa.
  16. Repeat the process with the next layer.
  17. Chill the dessert until it hardens.
