How to prepare Christmas tea with frothed milk?
1. Brew the perfect base.
Start by boiling the water (it should reach 100°C). Then add 5g of tea to the vessel you plan to brew the tea in. Pour 150ml of boiling water over the leaves and leave for exactly 5 minutes – this time is crucial for extracting the full flavour without bitterness.
2. Prepare the glasses.
While the tea is brewing, choose three glasses and set them in a convenient spot. Once the tea has brewed, divide it evenly between the glasses, pouring about 50 ml into each.
3. Time for sweet additions!
Pour 10ml of dark chocolate syrup into each glass, then 5ml of vanilla syrup. Stir the contents of the glasses gently – you want to create a harmonious blend of flavors without disturbing the black tea profile too much.
