1. Preheat the oven and prepare a baking dish.

Set the oven temperature to 180°C.

Then grease a medium-sized baking dish with butter.

2. Prepare the filling.

In a large bowl, combine the apple slices, mixed berries, sugar, cinnamon, flour and lemon juice. Mix all ingredients together until the berries are evenly coated. Finally, transfer the mixture to the previously prepared baking dish.

3. Prepare the crumble.

In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Add the cold, diced butter, then rub it into the dry ingredients with your fingertips.

4. Time to bake!

Sprinkle the contents of the baking dish evenly with the crumble.

Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.

5. Make some tea

Take advantage of the time the cake is baking and prepare a cup or a whole jug of aromatic tea from the Basilur Winter Berries set. Choose the flavor that you think will work best as a complement to the fruit under the crumble.

The method of preparing Ceylon black tea is extremely simple – just pour hot water at 90°C over the tea bag. The brewing time should be from 3 to 5 minutes.

6. Time to serve cake and tea!

Wait for the crumble to cool slightly before cutting it and serving. To enhance the taste experience, add a spoonful of vanilla ice cream to the crumble or pour vanilla cream over it.
