International tea quality grade designation: BP1 - Broken Pekoe 1 - contains very finely cut tea leaves (CTC method - Cut Tear Curl).
The leaves are sourced from the high-altitude regions of Ceylon, such as Dimbula and Nuwara Eliya, and then subjected to the unorthodox CTC production method, which involves cutting, crushing, and rolling whole tea leaves to obtain the finest dry leaves possible for preparing a strong breakfast tea.
