What ingredients are needed to prepare ice cream?
5 teaspoons of Basilur Radella tea leaves
1 cup of unsweetened milk, e.g. soy, oat, almond, etc.
½ cup of sugar
1 and ¼ cups of full-fat coconut milk
⅛ teaspoon of salt
Green food coloring (optional)
How to prepare ice cream with Radella tea?
- Heat the milk in a small pot over medium heat until hot and steaming (just before it boils).
- Remove the pot from the heat. Pour the tea leaves into it and leave for 5 minutes to brew.
- Strain the milk through a strainer and pour it into a heat-resistant bowl.
- Add sugar and salt to the bowl, then beat everything until well combined.
- Pour coconut milk into the bowl. Beat until everything is smooth.
- The color of the ice cream will be very light, so you can optionally add a few drops of green food coloring .
- Pour the mixture into a glass bowl and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Churn the cooled mixture in an ice cream maker.
- You can serve the ice cream in a soft version or put it in an airtight container and put it in the fridge for 3 hours to freeze and harden.
