Flavors of Autumn

Ginger

When we think about making a warming drink, ginger is one of the first ingredients that comes to mind. And for good reason. Ginger contains over ten ingredients with antiviral properties, so it helps to strengthen the immune system, among other things. It is also often used as a home remedy to reduce the effects of colds, such as sore throat and cough. In addition to its beneficial effects on health, it also affects the taste of tea - it gives it a slightly bitter and spicy aftertaste, and also adds sweet notes to the scent.

Cloves

Cloves in the form of dried flower buds are one of the oldest and most common spices in the world. In the case of teas , they are most often added to compositions that are to be distinguished by a spicy bouquet with a warming effect. They have a rather specific, strong smell and a spicy taste with a clearly noticeable bitterness.

Orange

It's a real vitamin bomb! It's a rich source of some B vitamins - including B1, B6 and folic acid - as well as vitamins A and C. Interestingly, one orange contains as much vitamin C as 10 apples or 12 bananas. In addition to vitamins, the fruit is also a good source of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium.

After adding orange to tea, the infusion takes on a refreshing, citrus scent and a sweet and sour taste.

Caramel

Caramel is a very popular ingredient in autumn drinks offered seasonally in cafes and restaurants. Burnt sugar mass , known for its deep, intense sweetness, enriches the taste of black tea in an exquisite way. It is worth adding a bit of milk to such a combination of ingredients, which will strengthen and emphasize the caramel character of the tea.

Tangerine

Tangerines, like oranges, are an excellent source of vitamin C, a substance essential for the functioning of the human body. The most well-known role of vitamin C – extremely important in the autumn period – is its participation in the process of strengthening the immune system and thus preventing the occurrence of colds.

The fruit , depending on the variety, has a sweet, slightly tart or distinctly sour taste.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a basic ingredient in all warming drinks, thanks to its sweet-spicy, slightly spicy taste and strong smell. The aroma of the spice is so distinct that it has been recorded in our thoughts in the form of several associations: autumn coffees and teas, fresh baked goods, aromatic mulled wine or the period preceding Christmas.

Pumpkin

Pumpkins are one of the symbols of autumn. The combination of this vegetable with tea seems quite unconventional , but it is worth trying it at least once, because it is the true essence of a typical autumn taste. The aroma of pumpkin gives black tea a subtle sweetness, which is intertwined with an earthy aftertaste and woody notes.

The fruit goes perfectly with any type of tea, giving classic flavor bouquets a subtle sweetness, which is worth breaking with the addition of spices. The right combination of apple with sweet and spicy accents of spices can result in the creation of a combination reminiscent of fresh apple pie.
