Country of origin: Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
International tea quality grade designation: GP1 (Gunpowder 1) - leaves tightly rolled into pellets resembling gunpowder. They unroll when infused with water.
If a "1" appears after the letters designating the tea grade, it indicates the highest quality tea within that class.
